I think we’ve made progress in the area of caring for the earth, yet we have a long way to go. Is there something that you think we as a church could do to help, at least in our area. The one I think of is having blue or green trash cans marked for recycling items and put one in the choir room for bulletins, in the kitchen for all types of items – paper, plastic, glass (I take mine to Springfield), tin, aluminum and put one in the Old Fellowship hall for good measure. Hopefully we could then recycle more items at the church and raise awareness so more people did it at home.

The drawings make us more aware of Jesus’ humanity – I liked the “invitation to come and dance” one. To me, being humble as a child means realizing how little we know and being eager to explore.

I read your post the other day as my birthday arepoachpd and had to step back and look around to make sure you weren’t looking over my shoulder. I have been running into a lot of the same thoughts and feelings and decided to go back through some of my earlier devotions to find strength and came across this verse as well. I have since decided to open my own blog and record what God is saying to me in my time with him in hopes that someone may need some words of peace as i did and will come across my post and it will speak to them as yours has spoken to me.Thank you again.
