Daily Devotion Saturday, January 26th

Saturday, January 26, 2013 – Psalm 56; Isaiah 46:1-13; Ephesians 6:10-24 and Mark 5:1-20

Psalm 56 – 9c This I know, that God is for me.
10  In God, whose word I praise,
in the LORD, whose word I praise,
11a  in God I trust; I am not afraid.

Ephesians 6:10-24 – 10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.

Here are two things to always hold on to.

First and foremost; “God is for you”. God’s will is for you to prosper in Him and to have real abundant life. Write this today upon your heart; “God is for me.” Say it to yourself over and over again.

Secondly; God is stronger than any one or thing that might seek to take us away from God. God is stronger than any power or authority in the heavens, hell or earth. God is our strength, as it’s said in Psalm 46.

When afraid, know that in God you can trust for God is for you and God is your strength.

Today, trust in the Lord, saying over and over again; “God is for me. In God’s strength I can trust.”

Here’s a song by Deitrick Haddon “You Are My Strength” sung at Hillsong worship.

O God, thanks for the reminder of this eternal truth; You are for me and in Your strength I can trust. Praise be to you O God, today and always. Amen.
